Hey everyone,
Well we are done tracking our 13 song new full length album with our friend, co-producer and engineer “the man” Vince Burke/Sniper Studios - Moyock, NC. The rough cuts sound killer...we feel its our best stuff yet! We are now in the process of taking it to the maestro Benny Grotto/Mad Oak Studios in Boston to get it mixed. Word has it is going to be mixed on their Tweed console that they acquired from Cambridge Studios where the likes of Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, Robert Plant and countless others recorded/mixed on back in the 70s. So....nothing like true, legendary analog mix. Then it will be mastered by the “master” Chris Goosman/Base Line audio labs to complete the production. Meanwhile, an amazing artist Alexander Von Wieding/Germany is painting the artwork as we speak (Karma to Burn, Monster Magnet, Might Could, Roadsaw, Lo-Pan and pretty much the small stone roster) and the f’n rough sketches so far are killer...did we mention he is painting it..it may be an underground masterpiece/may not...we’ll see. Regardless we are stoked. Most importantly, the kind folks at Small Stone HQ will put it all together, package the bad boy and release it on digital (iTunes, CD, etc.) and limited 300 180g Vinyl record (Nothing like layin it on wax!). The Vinyl shall have some extra goodies to include the lyrics so you know what the fuck TR is singing! They are estimating a late Sep/early Oct commercial release date.
